We are seeking a skilled IT System Design Specialist to join our team in Wroclaw, Poland.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the development of innovative IT solutions. As an IT System Design Specialist, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing systems that meet the business requirements of our Airfreight Logistics business unit.
Key Responsibilities- Participate actively in the solution design process to ensure alignment with business objectives and system architecture.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers and system architects to develop and maintain high-quality system designs and documentation.
- Model BPMN processes using Camunda modeler and maintain functional documentation in AsciiDoc, as well as design artifacts in Enterprise Architect.
- Stay aligned with system architects and analysts from other teams to ensure consistency and best practices.
- Initiate code and documentation changes based on findings from design reviews or tests.
- Provide knowledge transfer and assistance to software engineer colleagues on design and documentation tasks.
- Support IT quality engineers in creating test cases and analyzing issues.
- Proven understanding of software development lifecycle and experience with software design and documentation standards, methods, and conventions.
- Strong analytical skills to identify technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Able to design solutions that favor reuse over reinvention and think critically to tackle new challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to explain designs and findings to technical and business stakeholders.
- High level of initiative and a structured working method.
- Fluency in English and willingness to gain in-depth knowledge of Air logistics.
