We are seeking a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at an international company in Warsaw.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organization, utilizing your expertise in financial accounting and management to drive business success.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with international financial reporting standards
  • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounting books
  • Collaborate with external institutions, auditors, and internal clients to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in the accounting financial system during the month-end process
  • Measure and optimize accounting processes to improve efficiency
  • Report financial results in relevant systems
  • Analyze and review balance sheet items for reconciliation purposes
  • Prepare and verify monthly/annual/quarterly reports and statements, along with analysis of deviations
  • Calculate and reconcile monthly accruals, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Process payroll postings and reconciliations

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a finance and accounting role
  • University degree in Finance and Accounting, or a related field
  • Practical knowledge of IFRS, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a real-world setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in English or other languages is not required, but proficiency in multiple languages is an asset
  • Able to think critically and challenge the status quo, while maintaining a positive and constructive attitude
