Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant - Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • issuing and posting invoices, clearing bank statements, and taking care of customer settlements;
  • posting and reconciling sales taking place in Makro Cash&Carry shops;
  • clearing sales-related accounts (means of payment such as cash, credit cards, vouchers, etc.);
  • preparing and confirming balances and reconciliations for general ledger accounts related to the accounts receivable and payable process;
  • bank reconciliation;
  • processing and responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner.

Additional Responsibilities

The Financial Accountant - Accounts Receivable Specialist will also participate in projects related to the improvement of accounting processes, work with clients to provide top-quality services, and contribute to month-end closing activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • experience in accounting;
  • a good command of English (B1/B2);
  • good organisation of own work;
  • a strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
