Join Our Team as a Supply Chain Data Science Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Data Science Team Leader to join our team at Allegro. As a key member of our ODVM (Origin Destination Volume Management) team, you will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists and engineers in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to optimize our supply chain operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and supply chain optimization. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of data scientists and engineers to develop and implement data-driven solutions to optimize our supply chain operations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, and analytics, to ensure cohesive execution of the ODVM strategy
  • Developing and maintaining machine learning models for delivery optimization, including load balancing, route optimization, and delivery time prediction
  • Identifying and mitigating supply chain bottlenecks, managing volume load across different routes, and dynamically allocating volume between Allegro's own operations (AOK) and third-party carriers
  • Developing cutting-edge data products to support analytics and business decision-making, focusing on geospatial data, graph databases, and cost arbitrage
