As a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager of Fronius Poland. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with the Finance Manager on budget planning, monthly closing, and reporting, as well as working on tax issues and requirements. Additionally, you will support the daily accounting tasks with the other accountants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Finance in all accounting matters
  • Collaborate on annual budget requirements
  • Prepare weekly and monthly liquidity plans
  • Responsible for allocating and posting current transactions (i.e., general ledger accounting and purchasing invoices)
  • Responsible for analyzing and examining book entries and accounts
  • Calculate investment decisions and tax consequences
  • Ensure monthly and annual balance sheets comply with legal requirements and best accounting practices
  • Support the provision of reports and information as required to the headquarter
  • Understand tax consequences and regulations relating to domestic and international transactions
  • Support in the preparation of all tax returns

Requirements

  • Authorized accountant
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounting
  • Experience in office management
  • Experience working with ERP systems (BaaN ERP system preferred)
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local financial regulations, regarding taxes and all applicable business financial requirements
  • Advantage of experience working in an international company
  • Working knowledge of finance, budgeting, and cost control principles, including generally accepted accounting principles
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • English language skills are required
  • Ability to analyze financial/controlling data, preparing reports, and maintaining prescribed standards
