Impact You Will Create:
  • You will play a crucial role in supporting our hybrid-cloud transformation and serve as a subject matter expert for relevant Azure products.
  • You will support growing business requirements utilizing public cloud services (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS).
  • You will optimize efficiency using scripting, templates, automation, and IaC.
  • You will keep up to date with industry knowledge of relevant technologies and implement industry and security best practices when deploying solutions.
  • You will manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including resource provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and vulnerability remediation.
  • You will actively monitor systems and services, providing an incident escalation response.
  • You will analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
  • You will contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • You will provide strategy and guidance for MS Azure governance & security.
  • You will serve as a mentor to less experienced IT colleagues.

Your Profile:
  • Around 5 years of overall relevant experience as a cloud engineer in an enterprise environment.
  • Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure infrastructure solutions as well as the design, deployment, and support of large, complex systems.
  • You can successfully make use of your hands-on IT project management experience.
  • Experience working with Cloud DevOPS tools & processes (Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, etc,) as well as experience in migrating production from on-prem to public cloud environments.
  • You have good written and verbal communication skills in business English.
  • You are proactive and have an excellent problem-solving ability.
  • You bring great time management and organizational skills and are able to work independently and as part of a diverse, international team.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a similar qualification, any current industry certifications are a plus.
