At Dover Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing complex assembly operations on metal components and subassemblies.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work with blueprints, samples, simple drawings, schematics, as well as written and verbal instructions to perform assembly. They will also be required to safely use pneumatic and standard hand tools to assemble products and test them when applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble a variety of complex large and small mechanical products.
  • Tap, drill, ream, shim, grind, test, etc. to accomplish desired fit.
  • Read and understand blueprints, work instructions and procedures.
  • Complete repetitive and standardized operations maintaining product quality and safe work practices.
  • Operate crane and all required equipment in an assigned work area.
  • Use a variety of hand tools, machines, and associated equipment.
  • Actively participate in all department projects, tasks, and objectives.
