Requirements:

  • Possesses a diverse background and has effectively managed change during challenging times, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a large global enterprise IT environment with a focus on data privacy, leveraging technical expertise to drive business outcomes.
  • A Bachelor's degree in informatics, life sciences, business, or equivalent, with a Master's degree and post-graduate coursework advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and their applications to healthcare data, staying up-to-date on regulatory developments.
  • Proven ability to identify and address privacy risks effectively, driving proactive risk management.
  • Experience in implementing Privacy-by-Design principles and fostering a privacy-centric approach in handling personal data, ensuring robust data protection.
  • Background in translating privacy regulatory requirements into technical specifications and designs is highly valued, demonstrating technical acumen.
  • Familiarity with the application of privacy regulations in AI/ML/GenAI domains is a strong advantage, showcasing innovative thinking.
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, including Agile, applying technical expertise to drive business outcomes.
  • Professional experience in audits, risk management, IT security, or IT privacy is desirable, highlighting relevant experience.
  • Certification in Data Privacy is an added benefit, demonstrating commitment to professional development.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is considered a plus, leveraging industry-specific knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to support cross-functional teams, provide innovative solutions to complex business problems, and make impactful decisions across various functions.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying complex information, issues, and potential solutions at an executive level.
