Job Description:

At WhiteSource, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our SAST Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, scalable, and reliable software projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Translate business requirements and use cases into functional applications.
  2. Design, build, and maintain efficient, highly scalable, and reliable projects.
  3. Review, test, and verify code for adherence to quality and security standards.
  4. Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
  5. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
  6. Build high-scalable microservices systems, distributed and high throughput architecture, security, and connectivity solutions.

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a full lifecycle of project development using primarily Go(lang).
  2. 2+ years of experience in Java.
  3. Experience in software design, architecture, and development integration.
  4. Solid knowledge of Web Services and REST.
  5. Independent and resourceful, "out of the box" creative thinker, ability to perform under pressure and constraints.
  6. Knowledge of best practices and willingness to achieve with self-research attitude.
  7. Fluency in English.
  8. Team player, Get-it-done attitude, and a quick learner.

Advantage:

  1. Programming experience and deep knowledge in other languages such as Java.
  2. Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and server side techniques.
  3. Experience working on AWS, MongoDB (or NoSQL in general), EKS and containers.
  4. Experience creating React-based UIs.
  5. Experience with cloud based architecture and implementation.
  6. Having knowledge in security in general and SAST (Static Application Security Testing) in specific.
  7. Knows how to research and integrate new technologies.
  8. Degrees in: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
