How You Will Contribute

In this role, you will support logistics sourcing category for UPM Biochemicals in Germany, cooperate daily with stakeholders based in Leuna, Germany and Wroclaw, plan, manage and carry out strategic sourcing events (RFI, RFP, RFQ, e-auction) in collaboration with the Sourcing Manager, prepare and conduct tactical sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, RFP) using e-sourcing platforms, identify potential suppliers and analyze market intelligence, coordinate and improve sourcing and procurement processes, manage contracts, support internal stakeholders, and perform various reporting tasks.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or other relevant professional qualification in a related area
  • Fluency in English and a good level of German B2
  • At least 2 years of work experience in Sourcing / Procurement, preferably in a global transport organization (with a focus on land transport)
  • Experience in sourcing one of these categories: logistics / packaging / other relevant field
  • Experience with e-sourcing tools, preferably SAP Ariba. Experience of SAP TM is considered as an asset
  • Good collaboration and team-working skills with flexible and positive attitude towards changes
  • Self-management skills and preparedness to introduce new ideas and challenge the status quo
  • Proficient communication, negotiation and argumentation skills
