Job Description

The purpose of this role is to provide critical support to the R&D and local entities Controlling team. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain a reporting infrastructure that drives actionable insights into financial performance and R&D project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the global finance and controlling organization with product performance actionable insights and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain standard reports and data structures across R&D and GCs to ensure consistency and efficiency in tracking sales, OPEX, balance sheet, FTEs, and other key KPIs.
  • Manage the monthly reporting, yearly budget, and rolling forecast of KPIs, including analysis and interpretation of monthly financial performance. Develop ideas for improvement and corrective measures.
  • Support the global budget process by participating in the development and creation of global BU templates and summarizing global BU.
  • Track the success of key initiatives and identify related risks and opportunities.
  • Be a strong business partner for the R&D team.
  • Compile and present financial results and data.
  • Provide financial and analytical support for various ad-hoc projects.
  • Support the continuous improvement through automation and process improvement.
  • Work with business partners on business cases.
Requirements:
  • University degree in business administration, finance, or controlling.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in controlling, financial analysis.
  • Experience working for an international/multinational/global company.
  • In-depth knowledge of data analysis and data-driven action planning.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and ERP/BI.
  • Experience with consolidation tools (Cognos, Hyperion).
  • Capable of seeing the big picture and identifying trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability/experience in building large-scale databases using different data sources.
  • Able to plan with multiple timelines and prioritize workload.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
