Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

At CluePoints, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Squad, you will be responsible for the testing process and will support product improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute application testing in collaboration with Product Owner and Squad members.
  • Identify, document, and track issues.
  • Contribute to the manual testing debt reduction process in the Squad.
  • Drive Release Validation/Regression phase execution for release validation.
  • Work closely with Software/Test Engineers and Product Managers across CluePoints to understand the context and drive testing processes to meet objectives.
  • Promote testing best practices (e.g. shift-left approach) within the organization and provide guidance and assistance to enable developers to test.
  • Collaborate with fellow Test Engineers to identify areas for improvement and fix them.
  • Provide appropriate metrics to stakeholders.
  • Offer help and feedback on the functional documentation (e.g. Specification).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Testing/Quality Assurance.
  • Experience in Test Automation (preferably Cypress).
  • Experience in designing detailed and functional regression test plans as well as creating and executing test scripts.
  • Assertive with the ability to take ownership of the job and work autonomously.
  • Flexible and able to cope with an ever-changing, dynamic, and exciting environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Open-minded, team player with the ability to build relationships in the team.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to think out-of-the-box.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify flaws in the testing process and propose and drive necessary improvements.
  • Attention to details, ability to analyze business requirements, raise concerns, and seek resolution to outstanding clarifications required for testing.

Qualifications:

  • Masters' degree (Science or IT) or equivalent through experience in a related role.
  • Experience (3+ years) as a Test/QA Engineer or Junior Automation Engineer.
  • Experience with Test Management Tools like Zephyr, Xray, or similar.
  • Experience in working with and creating relevant Test Documentation (Test Plan, Test Strategy).
  • Experience with working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
  • Understanding and experience of Exploratory testing.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes.
  • Experience in Test Automation (Cypress) is an advantage.
  • Experience in Pharma Industry (specifically Clinical Trials) is an advantage.
