Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior/Lead Data Engineer to lead the migration and optimization of one of our products from SQL Server to Databricks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines in Python to support data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.

Additionally, you will create and optimize database schemas to support efficient data storage and retrieval, implement and manage CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, and ensure data quality through validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes. Your work will be critical in supporting our data scientists to meet analytical needs, creating insightful data visualizations for stakeholders using Python visualization libraries and Power BI.

Essential Skills
  • Proven experience in data engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise in SQL Server and Databricks.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for ETL development, data processing, and manipulation.
  • Knowledge of data visualization using Python libraries and Power BI.
