Join Holisticon Connect as a Senior Data Scientist

We are a custom software development company with a team of over 180 people, and we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and deploying AI solutions, including data pre-processing, data analysis, model building, and model optimization. You will also be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data management systems, as well as managing cloud services and overseeing data performance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy AI solutions, including data pre-processing, data analysis, model building, and model optimization.
  • Design, build, and maintain data management systems.
  • Manage cloud services, primarily AWS and Azure.
  • Oversee data performance and make infrastructure changes to improve existing processes and models.
  • Collaborate with data architects, cloud architects, developers, and other IT professionals on project goals.
  • Help develop and document a list of features, user stories, and roadmaps that align with the overall product vision.
  • Gather and analyze product feedback from stakeholders using data analysis, surveys, concept testing, analytical tools, and A/B testing.
  • Effectively present complex concepts to non-technical people.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends related to data science, data engineering, and AI.
  • Engage in academic and research projects that are relevant to the perspective of the entire Enterprise AI organization.
  • Support the idea generation process during various creative sessions, using your technical and entrepreneurial experience.
  • Proactively identify business opportunities through technology-driven innovation.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing activities to raise the company's awareness of AI-related topics.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in end-to-end development and delivery of data and AI solutions.
  • Bachelor's / Master's / Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and experience using repository management tools such as Git.
  • Over 5 years of experience with cloud services: primarily AWS and/or Azure.
  • Excellent knowledge of Python, SQL, and experience in Java or Scala.
  • Experience working with big data technologies such as Spark.
  • Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning tools and methods, as well as mathematical programming techniques (e.g., linear programming with mixed integer variables).
  • Excellent verbal communication, presentation, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Located in Poland.
  • Fluent in English.

  • Certifications in AI technologies.
