SCADA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled SCADA Engineer to join our team at CHINT NEW ENERGY sp. z o.o. in Warsaw, Poland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing SCADA systems for solar power plants, working with industrial communication protocols, and maintaining and troubleshooting existing systems.

• Design and implement SCADA systems for solar power plants, including planning and designing of SCADA and its Network architecture
• Work with industrial communication protocols, such as Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, and IEC standards
• Communicate with field devices, including SMBs, Inverters, Energy Meters, Protection relays, and CCTV
• Maintain and troubleshoot SCADA systems, including PLC and server-based systems
• Assist with instrument location plans, PLC panel layouts, I/O wiring diagrams, and loop diagrams
• Implement PLC/HMI programming, data storage, reporting, and system design
• Support subcontractors with installation and commissioning of weather station sensors and interfacing them with the SCADA system
• Provide technical support to internal departments
• Carry out on-site pre-commissioning and commissioning
• Support the O&M team in day-to-day operational activities
• Liaise with the Project Manager and assist with monitoring subcontractor implementation of SCADA & related equipment

• Fluency in English
• Higher technical education
• 3 years of project implementation experience on construction sites
• 2 years of project implementation experience in offices
• Readiness for business trips
• Willingness to learn and develop
