Financial Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Associate - Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Genpact. In this role, you will be responsible for performing primary review of invoices against set guidelines, investigating and resolving any invoice mismatches in the system, and initiating supplier creation/changes as per agreed procedure.

This is a senior-level position that requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and interact across levels. You will work closely with our team to ensure accurate and efficient processing of invoices, while also providing proactive controls for avoidance of future errors.

• Performing invoice processing primary review against set guidelines;
• Investigating and resolving any invoice mismatches in the system or reject/return the invoices as per agreed procedure;
• Invoicing postings; Initiate Supplier Creation/Changes as per agreed procedure;
• Audit accuracy and duplicate audit of data entry and invoices;
• Root cause analysis of errors and dissemination to the Team;
• Proactive controls for avoidance of future errors;
• Month close reporting and periodic dashboard reporting/year-end reporting/ad hoc reporting;
• Vendor statement reconciliations; Manual accounts clearing;
• Sending remittance advises to suppliers; Chasing vendors for balance confirmation and/or for clarifications needed;
• Provide information on status of Invoices and/or Payments, relevant contact information;
• Resolution of supplier's queries, major discrepancies, vendor clarification with respect to rejected payments;
• Contact Suppliers (email/phone/fax) resolution related; Work on aged invoices/pending issues.

• Very good written and verbal German Language skills, B2+
• Good written and verbal English language skills.
• Meaningful work experience;
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and interact across levels;
• Previous experience in a multinational company would be an advantage;
