About the Role

Equinix is seeking a skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for supporting data exploration, data audits, and reporting. You will develop knowledge and skills in data analysis, data visualization, and reporting to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and manage dashboards using Excel
  • Develop and maintain multiple recurring reports to track metrics, forecasting dates, project statuses, and other key performance indicators
  • Design and create PowerPoint presentations to communicate insights and recommendations
  • Provide project management support to ensure cross-functional teams and tasks are kept on track
  • Schedule and attend meetings, taking clean meeting notes
  • Perform data analysis, comparing various data sets, and using strong Excel skills to combine multiple data sets together
  • Review pre-identified data errors and work with cross-functional teams to resolve errors

Requirements

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including basic functions, creating pivots, charts, vlookups, and other advanced functions
  • Strong Microsoft Outlook skills
  • Microsoft PowerPoint skills a plus
  • SQL experience a plus, but not required
  • SmartSheets experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage timelines and follow-up with cross-functional groups independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to make decisions independently and escalate issues when necessary
  • Proficiency in English, written and verbal
  • Proven years of related experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or relevant engineering discipline preferred
