Key Responsibilities

    Participate in the overall design, architecture, and integration of our data systems.

    Build, maintain, and run secure cloud-native data collection, ETL, and analytics pipelines.
    \t\t

    \t\t

  • \t\t
    \t\t
    Provide APIs in our ecosystem to help build user-facing applications on top of our data backends.

    \t\t

  • \t\t
    \t\t
    Represent our KPI-driven data development and assure & monitor our data quality & transparency goals for the highest impact possible.

    \t\t

    Engage in our data-driven development processes.

    \t\t

  • \t\t
    \t\t
    Guide, implement, and support generation of synthetic and human-labelled training data and advance preprocessing algorithms and improving our data collection & classification processes.

    Create reports on qualitative and quantitative properties of new data, distribution of labels, and overlaps of training data.

    Batch processing and data streaming with tools such as Kafka, Snowflake, Spark, etc.

Requirements


  • \t\t

    Experience in bringing data products to market.
    \t\t
    \t\t
    \t\t

  • \t\t
    \t\t
    Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent in working experience).
    \t\t
    \t\t
    \t\t

  • \t\t
    \t\t
    Demonstrable, KPI-driven data leadership experience with a history of strong decision-making skills; prior experience managing and supervising tech teams.
    \t\t
    \t\t
    \t\t

  • \t\t
    \t\t
    Extensive experience in data engineering using languages such as Python.
    \t\t
    \t\t
    \t\t

  • \t\t
    \t\t
    High proficiency in cloud technologies & infrastructure such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS and data technologies etc.
    \t\t
    \t\t
    \t\t

  • \t\t
    \t\t
    Familiarity with Web-Scraping processes & frameworks.
    \t\t
    \t\t
    \t\t

  • \t\t
    \t\t
    Experience with different data sources like NoSQL databases (MongoDB, , Redis etc.) and Storage Backends would be a plus.

    \t\t

    Experience with setups and maintenance of data lakes would be advantageous.
