This role requires a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team and design and implement various scalable data solutions for our customers providing hospitality and travel services. This involves a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise, and collaboration across teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and implement various scalable data solutions for our customers.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to translate product requirements into comprehensive logging needs.
  • Scope and implement metrics for experimentation, KPI tracking, and operational insights.
  • Migrate existing data assets to modern technology stacks.

Requirements

  • Prior experience designing, building, and operating robust distributed data platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Scala, or Python, and expertise with data processing technologies and query authoring (SQL).
  • Expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and working with columnar databases.
  • Solid understanding of Spark and ability to write, debug and optimize Spark code with Python/Scala.
