Job Summary

This role involves leading cross-functional teams to deliver strategic regulatory initiatives using Agile methodologies. You'll partner with stakeholders to build complex solutions, balance competing priorities, and ensure timely delivery.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leverage technical expertise and project management skills to drive team performance and deliver projects on time, within budget, and at high quality.
  • Partner with Engineering, Business, and Operations sponsors to build complex solutions while balancing competing priorities.
  • Recognize, report, and escalate project risks to senior partners, overseeing remediation of identified risks.
  • Identify and remove impediments at program level, leveraging stakeholders, sponsorship, and other relationships.
  • Work with product owners to build strategic vision and forward-looking roadmaps, refining the backlog of demand.
  • Define quality assurance and testing approaches, providing coaching to the team on testing best practices and developing migration strategies for post-testing.
  • Provide transparency and progress of projects, issues, timelines, and budgets through governance forums with senior GBM leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 7+ years' experience in business analysis, project, or program management functions, with Finance Industry experience.
  • Project management skills including project scope definition, project issues, challenges, risks definition, status reporting, and User Acceptance Test execution.
  • A proven track record of scoping and driving delivery of projects, achieving results in cross-functional team settings, on time, and to budget.
  • Regulatory experience, preferably in non-financial regulatory reporting.
  • Strong analytical and business analysis experience, including process analysis.
  • Extensive leadership experience demonstrated through empowerment, situational awareness, increasing transparency, and conflict resolution on large-scale programs.
  • Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders outside direct control.
  • Facilitation skills to lead data gathering, analysis, and design efforts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and oral, confident in interaction with senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker able to identify cross-functional issues, provide innovative solutions, and communicate implications across existing processes, systems, and teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of products and processes related to the financial services industry, as well as related experience in technology strategy or client service or business function and/or management consulting.
  • Core knowledge base of Global Banking & Markets.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Financial Services & Operations processes and procedures.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Agile program leadership experience in various contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed).
  • Familiarity with non-Scrum flavors of Agile (Kanban, Lean).
  • Experience developing products using customer and design-centric practices.
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks, Agile Testing practices.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA and JIRA Portfolio or similar applications.
  • Knowledge/experience with OKR frameworks and roadmaps, as well as other governance and project planning tooling.
