At Aptiv, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Specialist to play a pivotal role in our internal and external communications strategy.

This dynamic position will report to the Corporate Communications Director, EMEA, and will be responsible for enhancing employee engagement, driving corporate social responsibility, and strengthening Aptiv's brand in Poland.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Create and execute effective internal and external communications plans aligned with Aptiv's business priorities.
  • Media Relations and Management: Collaborate with Corporate Communications and external firms to manage national and local media relations and events, ensuring positive exposure and mitigating negative issues.
  • Content Development and Employer Branding: Develop key messages and content to enhance thought leadership, brand awareness, and employee engagement in Poland, partnering with HR on initiatives to improve Aptiv's media presence and sentiment.
  • Reputation Management and Crisis Communication: Protect Aptiv's reputation with approved holding statements and minimize risk through crisis communication planning.
  • Spokesperson Support and Collaboration: Provide media training and interview preparation for approved spokespersons, partnering with HR, business leaders, and corporate communication teams for internal communication support and coordination of various activities.
  • Global Campaigns and Measurement: Localize and customize global internal communication campaigns, aligning them with local cultural context, and implement measurable goals to track the effectiveness of communication programs.

As a successful Strategic Communications Specialist, you will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing Communications.
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience in communications at a technology company or PR agency, with a proven track record in delivering effective communications plans.
  • Strong internal and external communications experience, with exceptional judgment, strategic thinking, and tactical skills.
  • Excellent English language skills, with strong writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a culture that fosters teamwork and encourages accountability, with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
