To achieve our mission, we're seeking a Credit Management Specialist for our Sensia business unit. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the success of our customers and the growth of our business.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a global team, collaborating with colleagues from different offices and clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:- The Credit Management Specialist will be responsible for collecting and reconciling customer accounts on a regular basis.
- They will reconcile customer accounts to identify disputes, overpayments, generate journal entries, and oversee offsetting of credits and debits.
- Provide overall customer service to assigned accounts regarding their accounts receivable balance and dispute resolution.
- Communicate with product sales departments, branch plants, field sales, and service personnel to resolve customer disputes.
- Exercise good judgment and decision-making skills involving payment arrangements on disputed items and/or write-offs.
- Classify past due accounts for monthly reporting to management.
- Makes recommendations to management on accounts or items that are potentially uncollectible.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with relevant teams across a wide range of areas throughout the organization.
- Maintain accurate information within the system, in compliance with company policies.
- Foster a culture of proactivity and goal-oriented thinking within the team.
- Collaborate in area credit limit availability and payment terms adjustments.
- University degree preferred (Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent).
- 1 year working experience in Cash Collection, AR, or OtC department.
- Very good command of English (written & spoken).
- Working knowledge of Excel.
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a Shared Services and international environment would be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
- Proactiveness and goal-oriented.
