Lundbeck is looking for a highly skilled professional to lead its accounting and financial reporting processes.

As a Statutory and Tax Reporting Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of all accounting, compliance, and financial reporting processes in scope.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing compliance and reporting tasks in line with defined processes and work instructions
  • Executing Period-End tasks for assigned units, performing reconciliations, and clearing accounts, reporting actuals in reporting systems on a timely manner and meeting quality targets
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for end-to-end statutory processes, including indirect tax filings, statutory financial statement preparation, direct tax, and driving all statutory processes for assigned business areas as per agreed timelines and scope, coordinating audit processes for assigned entities
  • Providing support to the Financial Controller in assigned controlling tasks

This role is part of the Accounting to Reporting team, which consists of around 12 people. The team is responsible for accounting and group, statutory, and tax reporting processes delivered to over 50 entities worldwide.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Finance/Accounting
  • Minimum 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
  • English at B2/C1 level (another European language is welcome)
  • GL accounting knowledge, including IFRS knowledge
  • Experience with preparing financial statements under IFRS and/or local standards
  • Relevant practical tax experience (indirect, direct taxes)
  • Knowledge of SAP and MS Office
  • ACCA/CIMA is an asset
