The Andersen company invites an experienced professional to fill the position of Software Engineer, focusing on a large-scale project in the Information Technology and Services sector.

The customer is an international passenger and cargo transportation service, ranking among the top 3 mobile services for ordering rides globally: 150 million installations, 1 billion trips, operations in 600+ cities across 45 countries.

The project's focus areas include enhancing user flow, optimizing driver flow, and relaunching customer functionalities in new regions.

The technology stack comprises Go, PHP, Android, iOS, Kotlin, Java, React, ReactNative, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, Nats, HTTP/HTTPS, GRPC, GraphQL, ELK, AWS, K8S, and Github Actions.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and improving the functionality of back-end services.
  • Creating new functionality.
  • Conducting code reviews, writing integration and unit tests.
  • Optimizing data warehouses and reporting processes for large volumes.
  • Modifying the use of queues.
  • Developing tools to reduce costs associated with external APIs.
  • Designing solutions tailored to application use case countries.
  • Meeting deadlines and collaborating with other team members on development planning.
  • Participating in system design and architectural decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Go Developer.
  • Experience in developing and designing applications on microservice architecture.
  • Experience working with high-load systems.
  • Familiarity with MySQL and Redis.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (ELK).
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Experience designing and implementing APIs (Rest, GRPC).
  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with build and deployment automation tools like Github Actions.
  • Experience with Kafka, Nats standards protocol.
  • Interest in new technologies and tools for automating development processes.
  • Responsibility, teamwork spirit, and desire for professional growth.
  • Intermediate-level English proficiency or higher.
