Job Description
As a Senior Technical Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for executing manual and technical testing of mobile games, ensuring high-quality releases. You will develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases. Additionally, you will perform functional, exploratory, regression, usability, performance, and compatibility testing.
You will identify, document, and track bugs using industry-standard tools. Analyze game design specifications and provide feedback on potential issues. Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and production teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient issue resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in QA testing, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and software development processes.
- Experience with mobile game testing (iOS and Android platforms).
- Solid experience with Unity game engine and debugging tools.
- Basic understanding of backend development and ability to test server-side functionality.
- Experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify potential issues.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a structured approach to testing.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
- Knowledge of SQL/MySQL for database validation.
