Accountant Generalist

We are seeking a Senior GL Accountant to join our Finance Team.

Our customer is the leader in providing modern business solutions.

Project information:

• Type of project: Accounting
• Work arrangement: Hybrid work model (3 days remotely per week)
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
• Languages: Polish and English
• Type of employment: Long-term contract of employment
• Level: Mid/Senior
• Remuneration: 13,000 - 15,000 PLN gross

Key responsibilities:

• Maintaining general ledger entries
• Coordinating month-end and year-end closing processes
• Monitoring monthly and annual financial accounts according to US-GAAP and local accounting standards
• Reconciling accounts
• Preparing tax returns (VAT, CIT, PIT)
• Preparing financial statements (balance sheet statement, income statement, cash flow statement)
• Performing audit activities
• Participating in payroll preparation
• Supporting the Finance Team in other monthly tasks

Requirements:

• About 4-5 years of professional experience in full accounting/General Ledger area
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow management
• Very good written and spoken English (B2/C1 level)
• Experience in working with ERP systems
• Problem-solving skills and attention to details
