Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Satellite Infrastructure Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining the Ground Segment Architecture for strategic satellite programs. Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

About You

  • You hold a Master's degree in Space Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in ground segment architecture, systems engineering, or mission operations.
  • You possess strong knowledge of ground segment components, including mission control systems, ground stations, and data processing infrastructure.
  • You have experience with ground segment standards and protocols, including ECSS, CCSDS, and network security principles.
  • You can demonstrate proven experience in managing external providers and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • You are familiar with satellite operations and mission control software such as SCOS-2000, EGS-CC, or equivalent.
  • You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
  • You have experience in risk management and system validation processes.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English (Polish is a plus).
  • You have experience working with ESA projects or other international space agencies.
  • You have knowledge of cloud-based ground segment solutions (e.g., CloudFerro, AWS Ground Station, KSAT).
  • You are familiar with cybersecurity requirements for ground segment infrastructures.
