As a SAP ABAP Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, training, documenting, and communicating processes within the Data Governance team. Your work will have a direct impact on the overall ability to achieve high-quality master data within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in workshops and meetings to understand requirements, functional and technical scope of requested changes, and priorities on the business side.
• Design and develop applications using SAP MDG, WebDynpro, HANA, and other related technologies.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and promote their adoption within Mettler Toledo, particularly in the Data Governance area.
• Apply design methodologies and tool sets, complete configuration and programming, design and conduct development tests.
• Recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of SAP MDG and other related standard application offerings versus custom development.
• Complete application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities, contributing to team meetings, and troubleshooting development problems across multiple master data management process areas.
• Provide hypercare support and application maintenance support for users of systems supported by the DG Product Team.
• Provide optimal solutions to enhancement change requests.
• Participate in design and implementation activities in close collaboration with Process Champions, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects.
• Design and conduct unit tests, support for user acceptance tests.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' SAP ABAP experience.
• Good knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP CRM, and experience in SAP SD/MM or Data Governance is an additional asset.
• Proficient English (written and oral).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Self-driven, motivated individual who can efficiently influence delivery in a matrix organization.
