Job Summary

The Systems Test Engineering Team Supervisor will lead a team of Systems Test Engineers and System Automation Test Engineers to ensure the system qualification processes and activities are completed for all assigned projects. This person will lead and participate in the definition of the activities for the qualification of system requirements and collaborate with the hardware and software teams throughout the product development process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Systems Test Engineers and system qualification activities
  • Develop and implement system qualification test strategies
  • Oversee and perform Systems functional testing and prepare results
  • Support customer interface for any System qualification issues
  • Responsible for Performance Review for all team members
  • Participate in Peer Reviews of System Integration and Qualification Strategy and Test Specifications
  • Interface and support System Integration Test Engineers and System Test Automation Engineers
  • Participate in Test Spec Defect Process
  • Support hiring and interviewing candidates
  • Develop and maintain Defect Tracking Process across all projects
  • Ensure process adherence across all PDS projects against ASpice Levels
  • Support audits on the Project for all levels of testing
  • Support bench definition and configuration required for Testing
  • Develop and execute test cases on relevant benches

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in Electric, Electronic, Mechatronics, or similar
  • 5 or more years of experience as Systems/SW Test Leader or supervisor position
  • Experience in writing and deploying Test process across the Organization
  • Ability to work in a hands-on manner and under limited supervision
  • High awareness and adherence to high voltage safety standards and procedures
  • Experience in writing Test specification on Requirements as well as Designs
  • Experience in different Type of Test Generation Methodology
  • Experience in Executing Tests on different test environments
  • DSpace/NI/CAN Tool experience
  • Experience in Defect Tracking Process Tools
  • Understanding of Automotive Spice and all Test Levels
  • Understanding of ALM/PLM requirement management Tools
  • Fluency in English is required, German would be an advantage
  • Travel 10% required, domestic and international
