Job Overview

Hitachi Energy requires an experienced professional to provide ongoing controlling support, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial performance drivers and identify trends.
  • Prepare various financial analyses, including cost, over/under absorption, and provision calculations.
  • Report R&D actuals and provide details to stakeholders.
  • Manage project cost control and explain deviations.
  • Governance over R&D and order-related costs collection, including issue purchase orders for external services and validate invoices.
  • Support preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Validate the accuracy of financial data and business information.
  • Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings.
  • Ensure that reporting and controlling are conducted in accordance with Company policies, tax regulations, and SOX requirements.
  • Review financial baselines with relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyze variances from budget and/or forecast and communicate significant issues in a timely manner.
  • Drive completion of budget and forecast processes through communication with stakeholders within the department and finance team.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business Administration.
  • Proficiency in English language (spoken and written).
  • Understanding of end-to-end processes, systems, and data flows across the organization at both business and finance sides.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and multitasking skills.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Exposure to SAP systems and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
