Job Summary

You will join our world-class engineering team as a Senior Staff Software Engineer, working on our Self-Service Colocation Portal. This digital product streamlines Equinix colocation deployments, increases customer satisfaction, and drives business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Work with product stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide clarity on ambiguous requirements.
  • Interact with product management teams to understand product requirements.
  • Participate in architectural review processes.
  • Lead product features and design multiple modules with dependencies.
  • Provide technical leadership to the team.
  • Develop scripts and code for features and multiple modules.
  • Cross-technical integration.
  • Participate in peer reviews.
  • Adopt standard coding processes.
  • Develop unit tests, fix defects, and develop test strategies.
  • Define and implement operational excellence best practices.
  • Provide level of effort (LOE) and estimates.
  • Define technical strategy and drive release management planning.
  • Investigate, analyze, and evaluate new technologies.
  • Influence senior management in setting technical objectives.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on professional software development experience in architecting, building, deploying, and maintaining customer-facing software services at scale.
  • Experience and good understanding of Kotlin, Spring, JOOQ, Postgres, Docker, OpenAPI, Kubernetes, Gradle, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, AppDynamics, and Splunk.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
  • Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.
