Financial Expert - General Ledger and Asset Management

We are seeking a skilled Financial Expert to join our team in Jti GBS Poland Sp. z o.o.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our general ledger, ensuring accurate and compliant financial records. This will involve recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining General Ledger: Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in general ledger accounts.
  • Ensuring Accuracy & Compliance: Verify financial records to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Reconciling Accounts: Conduct regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
  • Asset Management: Manage fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and impairment.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
  • Process Improvement & Collaboration: Identify efficiency improvements and work with other departments to enhance financial reporting and asset management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a multinational company, ideally within the General Ledger or Fixed Assets department.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Comprehensive understanding of core General Ledger and Fixed Asset processes.
  • Experience with SAP, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
