The Payments Information Provisioning (PIP) team is responsible for aggregating payments data from different origins and populating respective data sources. This enables internal systems and external customers to consume the data for reporting and payments search.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer/Expert Data Engineer to strengthen our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on data engineering and development skills, as well as a solid understanding of software development principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate and harmonize payments data from various sources
- Design and maintain near real-time data pipelines
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements and reporting needs
- Support the transition of existing solutions to a modern tech stack
- Document design and solutions
Requirements
- Expert Java developer with Apache Kafka experience
- Technical lead for developers/data engineers in a scrum team
- Contribute to solution architecture, design, and maintainability of applications
- Hands-on knowledge of practices like domain-driven design, event sourcing architecture patterns, microservices architecture, and clean code
- Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
