The HSBC Service Delivery team is seeking an experienced IT Governance Lead to join their Engineering Foundation Platform, responsible for delivering cost-effective journeys securely and providing complete development platforms and tools.

This exciting opportunity will allow you to grow, innovate, and be part of delivering cutting-edge software. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations to ensure that infrastructure and services adhere to compliance, control standards, and KCI requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Fully understand the application you have ownership for, ensuring it remains safe, secure, resilient, and available.
  • Foster a compliance-first culture across the organization and ensure engineering teams are aligned with and informed of changes in the control landscape.
  • Participate in various governance, compliance, and controls forums and projects, representing the service(s) you own or support.
  • Identify and present risk factors and impact to Business Owners while executing risk remediation activities in collaboration with responsible technical teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in IT governance, compliance, or service management/ownership roles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues, analyze solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details, with the ability to handle multiple governance and compliance-related tasks.

What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus additional bonuses, benefits, and opportunities for growth and development.
