FFW Freight Forwarder- Sea M/F

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Freight Forwarder to join our team at GEODIS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing sea shipments from import and export.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sea shipments from import and export
  • Communicate effectively with clients and negotiate shipping rates and terms
  • Select and verify subcontractors
  • Oversee complaints and claims settlement
  • Enter orders into the shipping book and computer system
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of operational processes in sea freight
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under time pressure
  • Good English language skills
