Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, with experience working with Microsoft Azure and Intune. You will be responsible for installing and configuring computer hardware, infrastructure hardware, operating systems, and applications. Additionally, you will provide LAN and WAN support to our network engineers, desktop configurations, and asset management.

Responsibilities:

  • Working knowledge of Switching & Routing (Cisco based)
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, infrastructure hardware, operating systems, and applications.
  • Providing LAN and WAN support to the Network Engineers, desktop configurations, MS Office, Outlook configurations, and asset management.
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, including remote desktop support and application troubleshooting.
  • Providing technical assistance to staff or clients, both in-person and over the phone, to set up systems or resolve issues.
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing, and resolving hardware or software faults.
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications and projects, including setting up new user accounts and managing password and access issues.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation related to the IT Department, such as vendor purchase orders, invoices, and asset management records.
  • Prioritizing and managing multiple open cases simultaneously, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers, users, and other professionals, including software developers.
  • Managing the inventory of equipment, consumables, and other supplies, maintaining an accurate IT assets list.
  • Quarterly reconciliation of production assets vs asset database.
  • Tracking asset movement & Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies (IT Assets List).
  • Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).
  • Act as local PM for new deployments of hardware, applications etc.
  • Conduct & Coordinate UATs for new deployments & implementations.
  • Manage & actively participate in internal & external audits (from an IT perspective).

Requirements:

  • Remote and onsite endpoint support – iOS & Windows
  • Application troubleshooting & basic networking support
  • Basic server management skills
  • Coordinating Go-Lives and UATs
