About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Manager to join our team at Roche, a global leader in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industry.

Job Summary

The Senior Risk Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the security of supply and minimizing risk exposure for Roche's global operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective supplier risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with procurement colleagues, business customers, and suppliers to identify and address potential risks.
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise on supply chain resilience, financial risk, and supplier risk management.
  • Monitor and analyze current or proposed business operations to identify areas of potential loss or damage and provide guidance to business decision-makers.
  • Work closely with Global Procurement and partner functions to achieve effective integration of available tools and data into existing supplier risk management processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in a relevant field, such as law, business, life science, or engineering.
  • Extensive experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry, including leadership roles and strong demonstrated success in building and cultivating collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven understanding of drug development, commercialization, and operations planning.
  • Established understanding of supply chain fundamentals and risk management.
  • Experience in continuous improvement of business processes, including process ownership, oversight, and monitoring.
  • Authoritative command of complexity and ambiguity, ability to collect, digest, and assemble information to enable meaningful business analyses and influence decision-making.
  • Business-level fluency in English.
