Job Description

We are seeking an Electrolyzer Commissioning Specialist to join our team at Exion Hydrogen Polskie Elektrolizery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the start-up and commissioning of our electrolyzers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial experience, with mechanical and electrical hands-on skills. They should also possess good proficiency in reading and understanding P&ID's and electrical schemes, as well as affinity with programming PLC and HMI.

A creative and problem-solving mindset is essential, along with independence in performing duties and a hands-on mentality. Good communication skills are also required, including the ability to explain and train customers on the use and maintenance of our equipment.

The role will involve regular travel, estimated at around 40% of the time, and working collaboratively with customers to ensure seamless installation and commissioning processes.

Responsibilities
  • Test, start-up and validate electrolyzers in-house
  • Perform Site Acceptance Tests on-site at customer locations worldwide
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Deliver remote and on-site support
  • Evaluate product safety and perform risk assessments
  • Calibrate safety devices
  • Support customers' installation teams
  • Explain and train customers on the operation and maintenance of our equipment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Industrial experience, preferably in automation
  • Mechanical and electrical hands-on skills
  • Good proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
