Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Initiative Leader to take ownership of one or more IT initiatives at a time and drive them forward to successful implementation. The ideal candidate will have extensive practical experience in managing IT projects or programs in a global working environment.

About the Role

  • Plan, budget, coordinate, monitor, and report on projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Manage projects according to the committed plan of deliverables, incorporating change management activities and addressing risks and issues.
  • Define and implement a good project management methodology, aligning with our Digital Technology Governance Model.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Motivate and inspire teams and stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Measure and report on project progress and outcomes, utilizing relevant KPIs and indicators.
  • Utilize problem-solving and critical thinking skills to proactively plan and execute project activities.
  • Manage vendor/supplier relationships and negotiate contracts as needed.

  • Extensive practical experience in managing IT projects or programs.
  • Strong personal drive and sense of responsibility.
  • Proven track record of successful collaboration between business and digital development.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Experience in measuring and reporting on project outcomes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, team-building, critical thinking, and proactive planning skills.
  • Strong ability to motivate and inspire project teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in negotiation, vendor/supplier management, risk and issues management, and time management.
