Job Title: Internal Control Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Control Manager to join our team at ABB Business Services. As a key member of our Assurance, Risk & Internal Controls team, you will play a critical role in providing oversight, expertise, and advice to our business units to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective risk and control management practices to ensure the integrity of our business processes.
  • Collaborate with process owners and control owners to design, develop, and maintain effective risk and control management practices.
  • Provide advisory services to our business units to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Lead and participate in initiatives and projects to improve the control environment and risk management practices.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to increase awareness and understanding of risk and control management practices among our employees.
Requirements:
  • Strong business knowledge and acumen, with a solid understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • At least 8 to 12 years of experience in finance, audit, or internal control related areas, with a proven track record of success in risk management and control.
  • Ability to demonstrate expertise in working with US GAAP and Sox requirements, as well as a good understanding of ERP systems (preferably SAP).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines, with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
