We are seeking an exceptional Chief Digital Infrastructure Architect to drive the evolution of our Host to Host (H2H) architecture, ensuring seamless integration with third-party providers and positioning us as a leader in the digital banking landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Define Connect/Host to Host (H2H) Architecture: Lead the design and development of the future state architecture for Connect/Host to Host (H2H), aligning it with our strategic goals, customer needs, and regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with business, product management, technology, and support teams, as well as central architecture and CTO functions, to gather requirements, align on objectives, and ensure the architecture supports business outcomes.
  • Ensure Compliance and Security: Develop architectures that comply with relevant regulations such as PSD2 and GDPR, implementing best practices for data security, privacy, and integrity.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation in Connect/Host to Host (H2H) by exploring new technologies, tools, and methods, leading efforts to continuously improve architecture standards and practices within the organization.
  • Guidance and Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to other architects, engineers, and project teams, mentoring and supporting the development of architectural skills within the team.
  • Engineering Partnership: Build a strong partnership between architects and development teams to ensure alignment with principals, advising in the early stages of the development process, and obtaining early input into architectural decisions.
  • Governance and Review: Participate in governance forums such as the Technical Design Forum and Digital Design Authority, providing expert input and securing approval for architectural decisions and designs.
  • Documentation and Standards: Ensure comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, principles, and standards, establishing and maintaining architectural best practices, frameworks, and guidelines.

You will be a key player in shaping the future of our digital infrastructure, driving innovation, and ensuring compliance. If you have a passion for digital transformation and a knack for delivering results-driven solutions, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in architecture roles within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on digital banking and Host to Host (H2H) banking. Experience with large-scale enterprise architecture is essential.
  • Technical Expertise: A deep understanding of Host to Host (H2H) standards, API management, cloud computing, data security, and regulatory compliance. Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Experience in stakeholder management and communication is critical.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Innovation Mindset: A demonstrated ability to drive innovation and improve architectural practices, with a willingness to explore new technologies and methodologies.
  • Keeps Current: Adept at staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, leveraging this knowledge to inform strategic decision-making and enhance architectural frameworks.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar are highly desirable.
