Salary

We offer an attractive salary package of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and bonuses.

Job DescriptionAbout the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team and drive strategic decisions and operational efficiencies across multiple international markets.

The successful candidate will work closely with business units to understand their needs, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and establish the necessary data sources and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analytical Product Development: Lead the creation of analytical products from inception through delivery, utilizing a deep understanding of business needs across multiple markets.
  • Real-Time Data Processing: Harness large-scale, real-time data from various sources to generate actionable insights, recommendations, and reports.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business units and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and processing of critical data.
  • Data Governance and Documentation: Take charge of data governance, ensuring data integrity and consistency across the board.
Analytical Process
  • Engage with business units to identify KPIs and initiate projects.
  • Determine the availability of data in our data lakehouse and identify or define necessary data structures.
  • Perform iterative data analysis, including understanding, transforming, and aggregating data to establish KPIs.
  • Develop recommendations for data models and collaborate on report building and data visualization.
  • Lead the operationalization of data calculations and ensure comprehensive documentation and data governance.
Collaboration and Technology
  • Translate business requirements into data needs, defining data models and setting standards for data providers.
  • Work within Data&AI squads, collaborating with data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists to leverage a wide range of competencies for project needs.
  • Utilize the latest technologies, including Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks, PySpark, and Power BI, to analyze data and generate insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, etc.).
  • At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related areas, preferably with exposure to global or multi-market operations.
  • Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and Python.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and big data technologies.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
