Programme Strategy Lead

We are seeking an experienced programme manager to lead our programme development and implementation efforts in Poland.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programme management, business development and leadership, with a proven track record of success in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves the following key responsibilities:

  1. Developing and implementing programme strategies, collaborating with programme specialists and HQ based Technical Unit staff.
  2. Managing programme implementation, including workplans, indicator tracking sheets and monitoring plans.
  3. Leading business growth initiatives, including proposal development, consortia creation and fundraising activities.
  4. Coaching, training and mentoring direct-report staff, promoting a culture of learning and development.
  5. Representing IRC towards authorities, forums and other relevant bodies, positioning the organisation as a thought leader and provider of technical assistance.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A postgraduate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • At least 7 years of management-level experience in NGO senior positions and programme implementation.
  • Experience of working abroad in humanitarian settings with INGOs/UN.
  • Strong English and Polish language skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach, problem-solving abilities and ability to make informed decisions.
