About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Credit Risk Model Development Lead to join our team at ING. As a key member of our Model Development department, you will be responsible for leading the development and management of credit risk models, working closely with international teams to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of credit risk models, ensuring compliance with IRB requirements and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, and develop solutions to meet their requirements.
- Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team of model developers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and competencies to deliver high-quality results.
- Support the development and implementation of agile methodologies and automation solutions for model monitoring.
- Ensure the quality of team deliverables and interact with stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns.
About the Team:
The Model Development department is an international team of 300 highly qualified professionals, working together to develop and manage credit risk, ALM, and operational risk models. As a Senior Credit Risk Model Development Lead, you will have the opportunity to apply and broaden your experience in management and credit risk modelling topics, using state-of-the-art modelling methods, tooling, and data processing technologies.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in credit risk management and/or modelling.
- Strong knowledge of statistical modelling and econometric methods.
- Experience with corporate banking products, risk management, and models.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Professional certification FRM/PRM/CFA or CQF is a plus.
