The Job

We are seeking an IT system administrator to join our team. The role requires experience in mainframe network systems programming and general product support. Responsibilities will include planning, coordination, installation, configuration, testing, administration, maintenance, updates, implementation, tracking changes and/or providing corrective maintenance to mainframe network-related software. Other responsibilities include diagnosing, resolving and documenting mainframe network-related problems, effective communication with software suppliers, peers, clients and leadership, maintaining current software and products, monitoring and reporting on system/product performance, reliability and consistency, prioritizing tasks, issues and concerns with self, team and clients, staying up-to-date on latest industry trends, products, services and relevant existing and emerging technologies, training and communicating with associates and clients for new upgrades and products, and assisting clients with problem determination and problem solving.
