Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Functional Developer to join our team and play a key role in the development of our high-impact project. As a Functional Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust code to support CAT3 capabilities within our Cortex system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop High-Quality Code: You will work independently to develop and maintain high-quality, robust code that meets our project requirements.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: You will collaborate with your colleagues to integrate and enhance our Cortex systems, ensuring seamless functionality and efficient trade settlements.
  • Contribute to Project Success: Your primary focus will be on coding, allowing you to contribute significantly to the project's success while minimizing meeting overhead.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced Haskell Developer with strong coding skills or a skilled developer proficient in any functional programming language (e.g., Scala, F#, Clojure, or Erlang) eager to learn and master Haskell. If you bring expertise in another functional programming language, we offer support for learning Haskell.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Haskell or Functional Programming Language: You must have proficiency in Haskell or another functional programming language.
  • Strong Coding and Problem-Solving Abilities: You should possess strong coding and problem-solving abilities, enabling you to tackle complex challenges effectively.
  • Motivation to Learn and Adapt: You should be motivated to learn and quickly adapt to Haskell if not already experienced.
  • Ability to Work Independently and Collaborate Effectively: You should be able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively in a team setting.

What We Offer

We provide a unique opportunity to work on a high-impact project tackling complex settlement risk challenges, a coding-centric role with limited meeting distractions, and support for learning Haskell if you bring expertise in another functional programming language. The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 based on location and experience.
