At Alstom, we're seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge train control systems. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with engineers, quality assurance specialists, and field operations teams to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal interfaces with project engineering, installation, and external technical interfaces with partners, third parties, and customers for T&C activities.
  • Support the T&C group manager during the bid phase.
  • Deploy T&C processes on the field and ensure they're applied by the T&C team within the project.
  • Deliver T&C plans, procedures, method statements, and coordinate staffing and training of the T&C team.
  • Prepare and manage Test & Commissioning works on the field – material and tools, documentation, people, access, logistics...
  • Ensure EHS compliance (Zero deviation), report, and anticipate issues.
  • Manage tools and organize accurate calibration.
  • Anticipate issues and report/alert on a regular basis to the RC TCM and to the PM on progress, issues, and risks on the project (EHS, T&C work, System delivery...).
  • Ensure all design-related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools, including the defect description and associated test context.
  • Monitor/manage QCD performance delivery (including EHS and Railway safety) of the work package T&C as per customer and solution/system requirements.
  • Issue the REX on T&C activities and propose updates/improvements of the T&C way of working/process/tools and the T&C Reference Library to optimize T&C performance.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or other technical discipline.
  • Good knowledge of English language.
  • Experience or understanding of train control systems and signaling products.
  • Knowledge of electronics/electrical systems and test equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and testing procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for problem identification and resolution.
  • Driving license.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to fulfill the role of interface manager toward both customers and partners.
