Key Responsibilities:

The Fund Accounting Manager leads a team of professionals responsible for the valuation of investment funds. This role requires strategic direction, accurate calculations, and timely dissemination of Net Asset Values (NAVs) to investors.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee a team of fund accountants, setting goals, conducting performance evaluations, and developing SMART objectives.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and dissemination of daily and periodic NAVs, adhering to local regulations and accounting principles.
  • Prepare and deliver regulatory reports, client requirements, and financial statements for investment funds.
  • Collaborate with the section manager to address financial and accounting matters affecting clients.
  • Identify and mitigate business risks, implementing corrective action plans to ensure team success.
  • Act as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders, responding to queries and developing process standards.
  • Establish and maintain business relationships, driving service enhancements and training staff on new technologies.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, performance cycles, and expense reduction initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Chartered Accountant/CFA/MBA certification desirable.
  • Proven track record in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of funds services, technical systems, and supervisory experience.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
