We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Network Systems Engineer.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with advanced knowledge of network systems and protocols to contribute to the smooth operation of our global network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Operation: Ensure the daily operation of our global network infrastructure, including the implementation of network changes and upgrades, maintenance tasks, and development activities.
- Network Troubleshooting: Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques and root cause analysis skills to identify and resolve complex network issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime.
- Cisco Network Solutions: Daily operation of Cisco network solutions, including SDWAN and SDA, to ensure seamless integration and efficient network functionality.
- Network Security: Implement and maintain robust network security measures and intrusion prevention systems, utilizing Cisco FMC, to safeguard against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Policy Configuration: Configure policy settings in Cisco ISE according to requirements, deploying 802.1X, Cisco Trustsec, and SGTs to ensure secure network access and data protection.
- Network Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, and capacity limitations to optimize network efficiency and scalability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to promote knowledge sharing, foster a collaborative work environment, and drive business success.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Proven experience as a network engineer or similar role, with a focus on implementation and maintenance of Cisco network products.
- Certifications: Holder of CCNP or CCNA certificate.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of services supporting network functionality (DHCP, DNS), routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP, VTP), stateful packet inspection, Cisco FMC, and Cisco ISE.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve network issues effectively.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and teams.
- Language Skills: Strong working proficiency in English and Polish.
