Exact Sciences is a pioneering company in cancer prevention, detection, and treatment. As a Bioinformatics Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in the analysis of data produced by assays and software applications under development.

The position requires a strong understanding of data structures and files commonly used in bioinformatics and basic knowledge of statistical methods. You will design and implement bioinformatics analyses to support the development of novel assays, improve existing ones, and hypothesis testing requested by Product Development and Computational Biology teams.

Key responsibilities include collecting and documenting product and software requirements, designing and implementing software modules, assisting with integration into pipelines, managing bench-generated data and bioinformatics outputs within high-performance computing (HPC) or cloud computing environments.

You will also prepare and provide information and data for scientific abstracts/conferences/project meetings/publications, identify trends in study data, and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
